The Osterdeich promenade in the heart of Bremen has filled itself once again with circus-like tents, stalls and pop-up bars for what’s to come.
Breminale is back.

This highly popular five-day arts and music festival comes to Bremen once a year in the middle of July to entertain the audience, promote the arts and music scene in the region, and over all create a place where people can hang out and enjoy themselves while discovering amazing things (vegan food, music, art, you name it they have it).
The Breminale festival caters for all tastes, from the international acts in the Himmelwärts Bühne, to the indie-pop in the Baronesse Zelt (Last year’s Interhyp-Bühne
), or something more electronic at the Flut Zelt. Other than music, there are also dance shows, workshops for the little (and not so little) ones, and over all crazy amazing art shows. And all of that for the crazy amount of…drum rolls please…0 €. Yes, you read it right, it’s completely free (except for the beers you buy at the bars of course!)
Between tomorrow Wednesday 23rd and Sunday the 27th you can find the fabulous Breminale festival in the heart of Bremen, at the Osterdeich wiesen by the river Weser. And if you don’t happen to be in the area, follow us on here, our (new) Facebook page
, and Instagram
) as we’ll be reporting back with daily posts (and lots of photos) on the ins ‘n outs of the festival.
It can be easily reached from Domsheide (Trams 4, 6 and 8 from the Central Station)
You can check this year’s schedule hier.
And if you want to know more, go check their website and these videos from the past couple of years out.
