I’m heading home on Saturday!
Hello Madrid! 🙂
It’s been a year since I last went down so I am rather ecstatic. Family, friends, food…but also an awesome project for you guys which I’ll tell you more about in the next few days!
In the meantime, here’s what’s in my bag the days I have to fly.
When I travel I like to take some time to update my calendar and check things off my to-do list, so my planner and phone are always a must. I have this little red beauty I got as a birthday present last year, i think it’s from Nany Nana, and my ever so trustworthy Samsung Galaxy S3, for which I need a new case but that’s another story.
That little bag hook I got at the Glamour Pink Carpet Event in Hamburg last month, and since has been in my bag. Most useful little gadget I own, recommended!
To keep my skin healthy and refreshed after all that airport bottled air I’ve been using the Vitamine E Face Mist from the Body Shop. I bought it last summer after a friend recommended it, and now I can’t get enough, beautiful results and that fresh rose aroma…
Deo, wet towels, my make-up bag from Marimekko, and Carmex lip balm are also a must in my bag, tho not only when I travel. I have long days, mostly on the go, so I like to be prepared for everything. So far I’ve been loving the new compressed deodorant by Dove.
Lastly, as photographer and shutterbug, I can’t go anywhere without my camera, this Nikon D5000 with various lenses has been my go-to camera for the past 4 years. It is great for photography projects, tho I’m still on the hunt for something more on the compact side for the blogging projects (i.e. the beautiful-yet-completely-out-of-my-reach Olympus PEN E-PL7).
And let’s not forget, to the above pictured items I’d add a book or something to read (still haven’t been able to choose my next one), a laptop or tablet, a change of clothes (in case they lose your bag), and of course your passport (or ID card).
